"Martim Gonçalves - A School of Theatre against The Province"; by the Performing Arts PhD

Program (PPGAC) of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) on January 31, 2012. The thesis

reintegrated to the Brazilian culture the artistic figure of political theatre director Martim

Gonçalves, founder of the School of Theatre of Bahia, the first in Brazil linked to a university after a
